Allies?

Day 44: I woke up this morning and went up to the roof of the building to have a look outside. It took me a little while to find out how to get up there, but once I did, I had an amazing site. I looked down and there was a circular mound of dead zombies surrounding the militia and there were still zombies crawling out of the woodwork. The militia had to be running out of ammo soon, though. All of sudden I saw a flash out in the distance. I couldn't tell what it was, but noticed something flying in my direction. Then I could hear the whoosh just as an explosion erupted where the mound used to be. Seconds later, a militia truck blew up. A few seconds later, another one blew up. There was a few who survived the explosion, but were badly injured. In a matter of minutes, they were zombie food. I looked back to the area where the rocket came from and saw a group of about 20 people marching towards the building. I could tell that most of them were armed. I ducked down while stilling trying to keep an eye on them. About 10 minutes later, they reached the front up to store. I must have not hid good enough because they called up to me and said they came in peace. They have ran into the militia back when their group was about 35 people. I got up and saw that they were made up of men, women, and children. I ran down to let them in, filling Thomas in on the way. Their leader's name was William and they were on their way to Fort McCoy, gathering up more survivors as they made their way there. They heard the radio message too. He was in Green Bay when the outbreak happened. After their run in with the militia, they decided to head to the fort and take their chances. I filled them in on my story and Thomas did the same. We decided to secure the store better and stay here for the night. Its nice to actually see a bigger group of survivors that are not shooting at me.
